Sustainability is more than a part-time or volunteer effort

Environmental impact is a front page topic these days. And as both awareness and regulations on this important issue increase, we think it's important to share our past, present, and ongoing efforts toward improved sustainability with our customers, vendors, and partners.

Since beginning business in 1959 Kyocera has embraced a principle called "harmonious coexistence," meaning we do what's right as human beings for the environment and the communities in which we work. This is the litmus test for every decision we make and, thankfully, it has resulted in more than half a century of growth and prosperity.

While there is always more we can accomplish, we continue to take careful look at what we do, how we do it and who we entrust to work with us. At Kyocera, thinking sustainably isn't a fad, volunteer effort, or a regulation – it's a part of our work culture.
